Course Description
This course introduces students to the basic principles and issues in the law of torts in Canada. Topics will address such issues as levels of guilt mentality, intentional torts, defenses to intentional torts, business torts, negligence, proof of negligence, defenses to negligence and limitations on the defendant’s liability, special categories of negligence, strict liability, vicarious liability and damages in tort
