Course Description
This course introduces students to ethical decision-making in the criminal justice system, and offers comprehensive coverage of the three arms of the criminal justice system: the police, the courts, and corrections. Using philosophical principles and theories, as well as hands-on applications for student practice, the course places students in historical policy situations and asks them to evaluate the often controversial decisions made, as well as the alternatives.
